Piet Mondrian Screen

The assignment for this project was to develop a series of screens for the porch of the Murphy Design Studio building based on the work of an artist, in this case, Piet Mondrian. The final project features a series of screens at the Southwest corner of the patio, curved to invite onlookers inward to the porch. The design consists of layers of frames holding colored acrylic in place, casting dynamic, colorful shadows onto the ground.
